Transmogrification

Came across a new word today
And thought of a fellow I know
Rhyme scheme is important he would say
And use words that make one's skull feel hollow.
So I thought of the saying -
IF can't beat him then join in
And thought that I would too, write a rhyme on a word
That only intellectual fools would have registered.
'Transmogrification' means change in layman's terms
Why a simple word is substituted, perhaps Easwar you can again confirm?
